All Things "B"...2nd Edition

BUDDIES- Over the past few weeks Nash and I have gotten together for several play dates with friends. He's at the age now were he can actually interact, so it's fun to watch. I can tell he's enjoying himself, and so am I.

BALL PIT- A few weeks ago I stopped by a friends house and they had a little ball pit that Nash absolutely loved! Luck would have it that one "magically" appeared on our doorstep about a week or so later, just in time for Easter! That Easter Bunny is sure busy! Anywho....Nash loves his ball pit just as much as the first one he tried out. The one he has is a "bus", and he loves climbing in through the front and opening and closing the door.

BIKE- Josh hooked my bike up to Nash's "bike cart"....I don't know the official terminology for it. We've cruised around the neighborhood several times and he seems to really like it. We are looking forward to family rides on the bike trail soon!

BASKETS and BUNNIES- Nash's first Easter was a success! Along with the ball pit, Nash also got an Easter basket filled with goodies and some quality snuggle time in with his very own Easter bunny! (*Side note- We don't really know how long rabbits live, but Fletcher is 5 and after we had Nash we were hoping he would at least live long enough to see Nash's first Easter. He made it! Yesterday we moved Fletcher back outside until fall. His winter was long enough in the dark basement, he seems happier now!) After we took some pictures of Nash with his basket, we headed to Eau Claire for Easter brunch with the fam. Of course Nash was showered with gifts there too, he's a pretty lucky boy! Speaking of lucky, we're so lucky that all of our parents get a long and live so close becasue we all celebrated together. My mom and step-dad, my dad and his girlfriend, and Josh's parents...one big happy group! It will be great for Nash to see all of his family together like that as he grows up.

BRIDAL SHOWER, BACHELORETTE, and BLUE WIGS!- Two Saturdays ago I left Nash at home with daddy and headed out on the town to celebrate a friends upcoming marriage! She was "wiggin' out" one last time, so we all wore wigs....bright blue wigs! The lucky bride-to-be wore bright pink. Before hittin' the town a lot of us decided to cut and style our wigs (picture of just some of the girls below), they were in need of some improvement! A fun time was had by all, congrats Angie!!!!!
BEDROOM- Our bedroom makeover is nearly complete! Josh, Jen (my personal interior designer, haha!), and I have been busy working on it, unfortunately I can't reveal anything on here until Jen updates her blog, so stay tuned! Up next....a mini living room makeover! Keep checking her amazing blog: http://www.iheartorganizing.blogspot.com/

BIRTHDAY- Josh celebrated his 29th birthday on Thursday! Nash and I made him homemade cards, complete with Nash's handprint. I hate shopping for cards, I can never find just the right one, so it's much easier to make them myself! Friday night my dad and Barb babysat so Josh and I could go on a date and celebrate his birthday. We went to Famous Dave's for dinner, did a little shopping, and ran some errands. The shopping included Josh buying a brand new set of Taylor Made golf clubs, he was like a kid on Christmas morning! I see much more golfing in his future. Happy Birthday my love! Nash is also celebrating a "birthday", he turned 10 months old on April 18th! Only two more months until our little baby is ONE YEAR OLD!!! What a great 10 months it has been, nothing compares!

BIG BIRD- Last week Josh took his first crack at turkey hunting. On the second day he shot his first gobbler, he was pretty pumped! Sounds like this will continue every year since he had such a good time. Unfortunatley, I don't have any pictures to show....Josh forgot to bring his camera with him!!!

After tasting a lemon for the first time, hilarious!
