Back to Blogging

Hi everyone! I can't believe it has been over 3 months since my last blog! Since getting several requests to update this site, I figured it was time! The trouble is...I don't even know where to begin! I guess I will do a quick fast forward of our life since my last post: Josh and I officially became husband and wife on August 18th. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, except for all the rain! We couldn't even get one picture outside which kindof sucked! The Monday after our wedding we went to Arizona for a week. It was SUPER hot, but fun! Definitely wasn't the ideal honeymoon location, but we made it work. As of right now we aren't moving there, but it isn't completely out of the picture. We will see what the future brings us around here. After returning from AZ I met up with my best friend Jen so she could get a birthday tattoo! After much deliberation, I decided to get one too. I decided to get a "Loyalty" symbol in Japanese Kanji on the inside of my wrist. Around this time, Josh was eagerly awaiting the beginning of bow-hunting season. He has gone a few times, but sometimes his allergies get in the way of him enjoying his favorite hobby. I have FINALLY started student teaching. I have been in a Durand 3rd grade classroom for almost a month now! It has been going really well so far! My cooperating teacher is so wonderful and so are all of the kids! They all have such different personalities, it's amazing! This week I start teaching three subjects, adding another subject each week until I am teaching all of them. On November 9th I start my second of three placements in a Mondovi kindergarten class. At Old Navy the other day I couldn't resist buying my princess Mischa a Halloween costume....Every princess needs a princess costume! I know, I know, am kindof strange, but she looks so cute in it! I think Josh thought I was officially crazy for buying it, but when he sees her in it, he can't hide that he thinks she looks cute! Below is a picture of the naughty mess Keenah made when Josh left her out of her kennel the other day. It was only a magazine, but she's such a naughty pants, that she is again confined to her kennel when we aren't home. She's 1 1/2 years old...when will it stop!?!?!
