Weekly Update

This week has been a busy one! Josh was gone for 2 days taking a class for work, I started summer school, and we have been continuing with our Arizona plans. Josh started filling out applications Friday for Chandler and Gilbert Police Departments, both are eastern suburbs of Phoenix. We have started talking to realtor's about selling our house, and have been researching houses to buy or rent depending on the housing market when we move. On Thursday our entire class took a "field trip" to the cities to tour 6 child care centers. On our break we headed to the MOA (Mall of America) for lunch and some quick shopping. I was able to pick up a cute sun dress, cotton lingerie for hot summer nights, two cute sets of bracelets, and some running shorts. Friday after school my friend Anne (pictured) and I went up to her cabin in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin for the night. It was supposed to be 80 and sunny but it ended up being more gray and gloomy. We were able to sit outside for a while and enjoy a few cocktails before the rain hit. From there we headed to the local bar for dinner and ended up closing the place down! We had a lot of fun hanging out and socializing. Yesterday morning we got going early and went home. Last night Josh and I were very low-key....we were supposed to go to Eau Claire for a backyard party but he ended up working later than he was supposed to and we had things to get done around the house. Instead, we decided to get groceries in Menomonie, afterwards we cleaned up our house a bit and took the girls for a long walk. Today I will be finishing up my power-point presentation for tomorrow...it has to be 35 minutes long- YUCK! My dad is coming to have dinner with us tonight, I'm thinking about making chicken enchiladas and nachos!
