Big News!

Hello everyone! Gosh....I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last post! I've been busy- but not that busy, it must have just slipped my mind!

SCHOOL- Well in the past few months I have finished up my last offical semester of classes at UW-Stout and received my first 2 out of 3 student teaching placements. I will be spending nine weeks in a 3rd grade class in Durand starting on August 28th, followed by another 9 weeks in a Mondovi Kindergarten class. I've already met with both of my cooperating teachers and they both seem awesome, I'm looking forward to starting, but I'm also scared too! Tomorrow my summer classes start.....I'm taking 8 credits this summer but only one class at a time, so it shouldn't be to stressful.

WEDDING- The big day isn't too far away anymore, about 2 1/2 months to go....CRAZY! In the two weeks I have been off from school I have been able to get a lot done, which I am really excited about! Jen (my Matron of Honor) has been helping me sooooo much! I am really blessed to have such a wonderful best friend. She has such a busy life with her job, husband and 3 kids and she still takes time out to help me! I can honestly say I don't have too much left to do. Invites will be going out at the end of June, I've made alteration appointments for my dress, picked out and ordered my veil, shoes, and headpiece, and I've even made several trips up to the cities to make some other wedding purchases!

DOGS- Mischa and Keenah are doing great! They are both really starting to shed their winter coats though....especially Mischa....we have hair EVERYWHERE! We have been taking Keenah swimming a lot lately because the weather has been soooo nice! She absolutely loves the water! Mischa has been getting spoiled with daily runs with her mama! I turn on my MP3 player and we're off!

ARIZONA- Here is the big news.....Josh and I have officially decided to move to Arizona next year (April or May)! We have been researching it a lot lately and discovered that there are a ton of teacher and police officers jobs there because the Southwest is growing so rapidly. We are planning a vacation down there in November or December to check things out and gather information. The really exciting news is that Jen and her family are seriously considering the move as well. Jen has always wanted to live in a warm climate and moving with someone you know would make it even better. We are both planning on moving into a suburb of Phoenix...even if we both don't end up in the same one we will still be close to eachother. Jen's office has a location in Phoenix, so there is a great possibility of a transfer for her. Josh and I are planning on putting our house up for sale within the next month or two. If it sells before we plan on moving we will be moving in with Josh's parents inorder to save up some extra moola!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND- Nothing too exciting happened for us this weekend....Josh has been working some real crappy hours. Yesterday we were able to squeeze in a few hours up at my cabin though. My dad and Sally were up there, so it was nice to visit with them for a while. The dogs were able to swim and play with the neighboring pooches. Josh and my dad played their usual game of catch. Whenever they get together you can count on them playing it. I think it brings my dad back to his younger days! On our way home we stopped at a graduation party for Jaimie- a girl I worked with at the Corral.
