This week has sure been an eventful one! Instead of returning to school on Monday I was home with my very sick Mischa. I was awoken late Sunday night to a very sick girl. Without getting discusting she had stuff coming out of both ends at the same time. She was tipping over because she was so weak, and crying in pain. I felt SO terrible, my heart was breaking for her. Josh was working until 4am so he decided to call in sick at 11:30pm. He called and woke the vet out of bed and talked to him for about 2o minutes. The vet said he thought for sure she had eaten something that really upset her stomach. He said that we would just have to let her get sick until it got out of her system. Josh and I moved all the rugs out of our house and slept downstairs with her. We didn't do much sleeping until about 3am when she finally stopped throwing up. The next day she was still pretty weak but you could tell she was getting back to her normal self. Everyone was calling us about the pet food recall that is going on, but Keenah and Mischa's food was not on the list, so we are OK there.
On Tuesday everything was back to normal and we took our girls on a long walk to celebrate! On Tuesday night Josh and I went to a really good movie called Breach. It's a true story about the biggest security breach in United States history. I thought it was going to be good, but it was even better than I expected. Tuesday is free popcorn night at the Durand theatre....making the whole night even better! YUMMY!
Today I am off from school so I will be working on a power point that I have to create. Other than that, Josh and I are planning on going on a bike ride this afternoon before he goes to work at 3pm. This weekend is "family night" at our house. We will have between 8-10 people and 4 dogs here overnight....it should get interesting! We are really looking forward to it. Sunday is also Keenah's 1st birthday...CRAZY! We are having cake and presents to celebrate with everyone! I will post some pictures this weekend or early next week. Enjoy the nice weather! :o)
