Looks like Josh working for the Durand PD is meant to be...At least for a little while longer! (In the above photo Josh is pictured with our "nephews"...My best friends adorable little boys! We just love them to pieces.) He found out on Monday that he didn't make it through to the next round of the State Patrol hiring process. We were a little disappointed at first but then we realized that it was probably for the best....at least for now. If Josh would have gotten hired, he would have been gone for six months starting in January. At that time, I will be finishing up my last semester of classes before student teaching and I would have been on my own. It would have been really hard juggling school work, house chores, and 3 pets all on my own. The State Patrol is having another hiring process in the spring, maybe he will apply for that....We will see.
We put up our Christmas tree on Sunday, it looks really pretty. One of these days I will post a picture of it. The dogs don't really seem too interested in it, which is a good thing. Every once in a while they run into it when they are playing, but no damage has been done...Yet! Fletcher has been really enjoying the tree. When we let him out at night he hops under it and that's where he stays, he doesn't run around like usual. He nibbles on the branches, it's pretty cute!
Josh and I will be taking our 2nd annual Christmas photo on Friday, hopefully it turns out. Keep your fingers crossed that I will get them sent out before the 25th!
