I Can't Believe It's Been So Long!!!!!

Hmmmm....where to begin?! I guess I could start with Christmas, even though that was already one month ago! Where does the time go?! We had a wonderful Christmas. The small family gathering we had at our house on Christmas eve turned out great! The perfect blend of family, food, laughs, and memories. Nash had a blast opening presents, or should I say "eating paper"?!? Mom and Dad had an equally fun time playing Santa. It will be even better when he knows what's happening!










After Christmas, and ALL of Nash's presents we decided to add a little "play nook" in our office. We are somewhat limited with the amount of space that we have, but I think we made it work! What he loves most?!...Taking everything out of the bins and eating the floor pieces! Who needs real toys?!



Last weekend we celebrated our annual Christmas with the Jones' Family. For those of you who don't know, Josh and I don't have large families so....we've made our own!!! We've given Nash three sweet, adorable, and loving cousins! We love you guys!



After our "kid friendly" gathering on Friday, we continued on Saturday with adults only! It's definitely hard to carry on a conversation with 3 kids, 1 baby, 2 dogs, and 4 adults. Things worked out much easier this way, and we had a great night away!




My friend Emily and her two daughters came down for a visit the other day. Her daughter Joey is only about 2 weeks older than Nash. They were sooooo cute together! We're looking forward to many more "play dates" with them!




Nash is sure growing and changing, he's a little over 7 months now. He can do so much!!! Here are some of his develomental milestones:

Has ONE tooth so far!
Sits up on his own (has for quite a while now)
Scoots EVERYWHERE! VERY close to crawling, any day now!
Picks up his own snacks 75% of the time (cheerios, gerber puffs and yogurt chips)
Drinks from a sippy cup @ snack time (he picks it up and puts it to his mouth, we have to help him tip it back)
LOVES standing! He tries to pull himself up on any and everything!
