Uncle Jake Comes Home!

This week Nash got to meet his one and only Uncle, Jake! He currently lives in Texas but came home for a visit and to attend Country Jam. On Friday night we went to Grandpa Jim's retirement party and that's where Jake got to hold Nash for the first time (pictured below). Congratulations Jimbo, we hope you enjoy the easy life!

Nash turned one month old this past Saturday, hard to believe! He's already getting so big! We have his one month check-up later today, so the next time I post I'll give everyone his stats. He's starting to look at his surroundings a lot more and respond to different voices and sounds. It's fun to watch him check out his world!

This past week Josh and I were able to get away for a few hours and spend some time alone. My mom (Grandma Debbie) babysat for 5 hours while Josh and I went out to lunch, did some shopping, and ran some other errands. Nash had a bottle that day for the first time and my mom said he did great! Last night Grandma Jean (Josh's mom) came down to our house to babysit so I could meet a friend and go to a movie. It was fun to get out for a while, but I sure missed my little buddy!

Below are some pictures from the last week or so, I've also added a short video clip of bath time. It's not too exciting because he's not doing much, but it's cute either way. Oh, and please don't be offended because you can see his "parts".... the only reason I say this is because I posted a picture of Nash during bath time (in which he was exposed) onto Facebook and along with the picture getting deleted I got a warning for posting a picture containing nudity?!?!? Apparently nude babies offend some people! I hope you enjoy either way!
