Where has January gone?

I can't believe it has been almost a month since my last post! I guess with volunteering over break and school starting again time really flies!

Well, I have some happy news to report...Josh and I are finally leaving the seventeenth century and getting the internet! For those of you who don't know, we live in a small town where internet is OVERLY expensive! We have decided to cut corners in some other areas to make it work. I have lived for over a year now without the internet and let me tell you, it's been pretty hard! Being in college and not having the internet is NOT a good combo, it sure makes life a lot harder....As dumb as that might sound.

This coming weekend Josh and I are heading west to Jen and Bryan's house for our annual holiday get-together. We usually are able to do it sooner than February but with everyone's busy schedules, this was the best we could do. Not everyone gets Christmas presents in February...So, hey! I'm sure the boys will have a lot of fun talking about sports and what-not, while Jen and I plan a girls weekend that is coming up in April.

Keenah turned 10 months this week....And she officially weighs 115 pounds! I thought she was going to be a lot more than that....She's so thick! The lady at the vet said she is actually pretty small for a Newfoundland, but who knows, maybe she will still have a growth spurt!

Oh, one more thing, Jen's (my best friend) mom had a stroke last week. So far the prognosis looks promising, but it's still very scary! Please keep Jen and her family in your thoughts and prayers!
