Josh and Jean....Pet Detectives!

Wonderful news! Our baby has been found, and she is ok! Josh and his mom set out Sunday evening armed with MISSING flyers in search of Mischa. We were assuming she headed in the direction of the Menomonie area, so they stopped at a local gas station outside of Eau Claire. The clerk said he wasn't supposed to hang flyers like that, but his boss was out of town so he said he would do it! (Thanks...Whoever you are!) After Josh left the gas station, the clerk called my cell phone. He said that a man had just left that said he saw our dog near Ferry Street. I of course, frantically called Josh and told him to get down in that area....Fast! He stopped at a gas station on Ferry Street, and the clerk there said that Mischa had been in the store yesterday...Some kids brought her in. A man that had been there said he would take her home for the weekend and call the shelter on Monday. After she had been at this guys house she started whining....So he let her go!!!! After hearing all of this, Josh was convinced it was a lost cause. Before heading home they stopped at a local bar to drop off another flyer. The bartender he handed it to seemed shocked...She took the flyer over to a patron and said "look at this!" Turns out, the guy she showed the picture to knew where our Mischa was. He offered to let Josh follow him up to this persons house. Josh got back into the car and started balling! His mom had to drive because he was crying so hard. He had been holding it in for two days, comforting me while I was crying...Now it was his turn. (Thanks for being so great Josh...I love you!) They knocked on the door, and there she was...excited to see her dad! He thanked the man and brought her home to her mama! So it turns out, the worst day of my life has turned into a miracle day! Thanks to all of you who kept us in your thoughts, we really appreciate it!
