Crazy, Busy Summer!

Greetings! I hope this blog update finds everyone happy, healthy, and enjoying their summer! We have been super, duper busy and time is just flying! August 15th already....wait, what?!?!? Here are just a few of the things we've been up to since the last post:

Como Zoo and a trip to the playground on Father's Day!
Josh and his boy!
Nash, my dad Larry, and I

Nash's first trip to a movie theater was a success! And what did we see? "Cars 2" of course!!!
Our little "car-a-holic" sat through the entire movie!

In July, we managed to squeeze in a much needed day at the lake!

My dearest friend Jen and her husband Bryan celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary  by hosting a vow renewal ceremony. I stood up for them 10 years ago when their marriage began, and I was honored to stand up for them again this year. Congrats to a wonderful couple!

I was lucky enough to be in another wedding a few weeks later! Katie, who happens to be one of my best friends, married a wonderful guy named Greg. It was a beautiful, hot day with a huge bridal party, lots of drinks, and plenty of love in the air! Congrats to you guys as well! XOXO

Just the girls....

Jake (Josh's brother) is getting married next month and Josh and Nash both get to be in the wedding. I can't wait to see Nash in his little tuxedo....I'm sure it will do nothing less than melt my heart! Until then, here are some pictures of the little man getting measured for the big day...
He was quiet for too long...then we found this!

A few weekends ago Nash and I took a last minute trip up to Hayward for the weekend. The weather was perfect! I even got to see some of my cousins that I haven't seen in years!

So precious!
Couldn't resist....so cute!

We've taken a few rides on the Carson Park train this summer. Nash sure loves it! He just can't seem to get enough!

This past weekend, Uncle Jake was home for a visit! We got to spend the day as a family just hanging out, playing at the park and having a nice dinner together.

Josh, Nash and I are no longer living in Durand! We moved back to Eau Claire at the end of June, and will hopefully be staying until spring. We have until May of 2012 to be living in Dunn County. We are currently trying to decide if we will buy a house again, or buy land and then rent for a while. Only time will tell....until then, we are enjoying being back. We are thankful that we have rented out our house in Durand to a great family, and we hope they make as many memories there as we did. Josh is loving his job with Dunn County and I am enjoying staying home with Nash and working part time at Mayo Clinic Health Systems (Luther-Clairemont Campus). Nash has really turned into a typical two year old over the past few weeks! He is "testing" me almost every minute of the day...literally!!!! Even though sometimes I can't wait to get a break, I miss him so much when he is gone! I guess that's one of the greatest blessings and curses of parenthood!

Thanks for checking in!
