A Weekend of "Firsts"

Friday night we took Nash bowling for the first time. He was more interested in carrying the balls and pushing them around then in actually bowling, but for a first-timer he seemed to have fun!!!

8 pounder!

Nash's first swimming lessons started on Sunday at the YMCA. A group of 6 moms/friends decided to sign up together. Nash was a little nervous at first, but loved splashing! They had the kids line up on the edge of the pool and jump to the parents...Nash would only do it as long as I held his hand. I'm sure he will be "brave" in no time!

The group- minus one mom and baby
Josh got his first (and hopefully his last) black eye from Nash. The little stinker has really been into throwing things lately... and so, while Josh had his head turned he took a sippy cup right to the eye! Poor Daddy!

Have a great rest of the week!

It's great to see a lot of these "firsts", even if we can't be there in person! We try to see Nash at least once a week because he is growing and changing so much now, but it's great to see all of your blogs and follow your journey as parents...dad
