Plumber Josh

Life has been pretty busy around our house lately...I have been intensely working in my E-Portfolio and preparing for my Benchmark II interview at school. For those of you who don't understand what this is, I will give you the shortened version. An E-Portfolio is a web page that holds all of my work over the past 4 years of college. We have to scan every individual item into the computer......TIME CONSUMING! We then have to meet with two professors and have what is called the Benchmark II interview. This interview is the final step before student teaching begins. They have to make sure they are sending competent teachers out into the schools and this is there way of testing it. It's been a very stressful and busy time, but yesterday I completed my interview and everything went well. They told me I was well prepared and they could tell I worked really hard! YIPPEE!

Thursday afternoon Josh decided to fix our crazy toilet. You had to hold the handle down the entire time it was flushing, and afterwards the bowl wouldn't fill back up. After discovering he had no idea what he was doing, he had really broken the toilet! He was scheduled to work in a few hours but he still decided to drive to Eau Claire at 5 o'clock and buy a new toilet all together?! He managed to drive to EC, buy toilet, drive back home, install it and get to work by 9pm! Very impressive.

Tomorrow is Jim's birthday (Josh's dad)- we are going to Eau Claire to go out to dinner with the fam and get our taxes done. Then Josh and I have a wedding workshop at our church with all the other couples that are getting married there this year. The pastor is going to talk to us about all of the ceremony options and what not.....We already have a lot of stuff planned but we still might get some more ideas.
