First Entry

Hello family and friends, I was introduced to this wonderful website by my amazingly talented friend Jen. I swear, when I think I've mastered some new technology, she's always one step ahead of me.

I thought this would be a great way for the people we care about the most, to see what we have been up to. I am still hard at work trying to complete my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and Special Ed. Josh is still working as a patrol officer for the Durand Police Dept, and is currently seeking employment with the Wisconsin State Patrol. He has passed the written exam and the physical....this last Tuesday he had his interview and uniform fitting. Now all we do is wait........wait to see if he is indeed going to get hired........wait to see if he will be leaving for six months.........wait to see if we can finally get out of our "small town life", sometimes we feel SO disconnected from everything and everyone!

I am going to St.Paul tomorrow to pick up my wedding dress, and next Friday I am planning on going bridesmaid dress shopping. Time is going so fast....only 9 1/2 months to go!

When we aren't busy with school and work, Josh is hunting as often as he can. He went on an exciting CWD hunt down in Madison a few weeks ago. He shot a pretty nice 10 pointer. When he isn't hunting, he is trying to come up with ways to keep our dogs from digging holes in our backyard. We have designated an area where they can dig and do whatever they want, but they always manage to get into the nicer area and destroy it. When I'm not at school, or doing school work, I am doing household stuff, planning our wedding or hanging out with friends......I wish I had more time. I miss everyone!
